Intermountain provides a wide array of services to help extend the life of asphalt, from driveways to highways, runways to parking lots, and everything in between.
In 1980, Gibbons Companies, a family-owned business in Salt Lake City, Utah, founded Intermountain Slurry Seal. The newly-formed Intermountain company only performed asphalt slurry seal in the Salt Lake area, but just four years later, ventured into chip seal and microsurfacing.
Gibbons Companies was eventually acquired by Granite Construction in 1995, and a few years later, Intermountain opened a second office in Reno, NV. Over the next several years, this little company became a diverse pavement preservation firm. Today, Intermountain offers multiple treatments in 21 states, from Texas to Canada and west to the Pacific Ocean.
Our philosophy for providing employee and customer satisfaction has led to a strong reputation of exceeding expectations.
